We received the State Primary Ballot yesterday in the mail so I filled it out right away before I forgot about it. I had to search the internet a little bit to find out about the candidates for attorney general. Somehow they aren't mentioned in the news like the candidates for governor. I was glad that our ballot was mailed so I could educate myself a little before I voted. Our ballots are always mailed to us when we vote-there is no polling place for us to go to. This really surprised me when we moved to this small town.
I had to laugh when I saw this on the ballot. Ole' Savior and Todd "Elvis" Anderson are running for governor and lieutenant governor.

Dear Ewe,
Thank you so much for mentioning me in your recent blog. I know it may sound funny that I am an Elvis impersonator but beyond that unique profession you and I aren't very different. Here's some more information about me.
I am a Lutheran. I have been married to my beloved for 21 years. We have 2 boys and 1 girl all teenagers. We also have 2 miscarried children in heaven. My favorite part of the day is just sitting down with my family and listening to their happenings of the day. I have worked in the printing industry for 28 years but I have been unemployed and unable to find work for the last year and a half, so I have had to depend on impersonating Elvis for all my income lately. Impersonating Elvis is a fun job and I thank God for giving me this gift that has helped me sustain my family lately, I look forward to performing again "just for fun" as I just started a new job with a Minneapolis printing company.
I taught Sunday school at our church for 6 years and was Director of the Youth Board for 3 years. I coach travelling soccer for my daughter's u14 team and mentor the robotics program for my son's high school team. My wife is a pharmacy technician with Walgreens who is amazing and just got accepted to the Undergraduate program at the UofM to become a pharmacist. I like doing things with my family, teaching my kids to love and care for others and help those who may need a little extra support or encouragement. I do like coffee and beer.
Did you vote for me and Ole Savior?
I hope so.
Blessings to you,
Todd "Elvis" Anderson
