When you are writing your post and want to link to something: 1. highlight the words to make the link, 2. put your cursor on the icon immediately to the right of the text color option. 3. Click on it and insert the link you want to use.
What I do is open another tab, have the web page or blog I want to link to open in that tab, highlight the web address and copy it. Then I click back on the tab with my blogpost, highlight the words, click on the link icon, and then paste the copied web address.
