I found out about this story from an e-newsletter from Memoria Press. I decided to find out a little more about it and I found this article.
The reporter that broke the news about the pope's resignation was the first to report it because she knew Latin.
We keep plugging away at our home Latin studies in between taking two Lambs to speech two different days a week, piano lessons for two Lambs, and all our church activities. One of the reasons we study Latin is we have no idea what career our Lambs will choose. Latin will give them a broad foundation for learning other languages in the future.
